Implantology & tooth replacement
Your implantology in Ingolstadt
Dental implants replace missing teeth functionally and aesthetically. In our practice, we plan every implantation individually and tailored to your situation, for stable results, natural comfort and long-term tooth preservation.

Fixed teeth & a confident smile
Why dental implants are so valuable
An implant replaces the missing tooth including its root and provides a stable, natural feel when chewing and speaking. Unlike a bridge, healthy neighbouring teeth remain untouched.
Before every implantation, we advise you thoroughly and plan digitally in 3D. This allows us to assess position, bone quality and load precisely and tailor the treatment to your situation.

An implant replaces the root and helps to preserve the jawbone.
Implant or bridge
What is the difference?
Both close a tooth gap, but differ in function, durability and the preservation of natural tooth structure. An implant replaces the root in the jaw and supports the new crown on top of it.
When is a bridge a sensible choice?
A bridge can be suitable when the neighbouring teeth are already heavily filled or crowned. In a personal consultation, we work out together which solution fits your situation.

General information about dental implants
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root made of titanium or ceramic that is firmly anchored in the jaw. A crown, bridge or denture is then attached to it, for a natural chewing feel and an aesthetic smile.
Implants are suitable for patients with single-tooth gaps, several missing teeth or an edentulous jaw, provided there is sufficient bone substance.
With good oral hygiene and regular check-ups, implants can last many decades, often even a lifetime.
After thorough diagnostics, precise 3D planning takes place. In a minor procedure, the implant is placed, followed by a healing period before the restoration is attached.
Thanks to modern anaesthesia and minimally invasive techniques, the procedure is usually pain-free. Mild discomfort after the surgery is possible, but easily manageable.
Depending on the initial situation, the entire treatment process (including healing time) takes between 3 and 6 months, sometimes less with immediate implants.
